Yesterday was my first time going to this Market in Westlock, Alberta. Wait, not true. I have been to them as a buyer, not a seller! It was a very busy day. Went well
I had made an appointment with my RRSP provider. I had to switch things around since I no longer had an account with them, which I had years ago. I made the appointment for later, after 3pm.
The night before, I made sure I had all my stock prepped and in the box. The picture frames in the stock box, along with the wooden shelf for the spell bottles and window charms. Since I have never been to this market before, I will be selling from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Being prepared for the day was what I truly wanted to be. Once in the town, thinking of where it was again. Taking a short drive around, I found it shortly. Seeing many farmers there, with jams, veggies, berries and plants!
It was so wonderful! I made some very interesting connections with new clients and maybe a new seller as well. Additionally, an old friend was present, someone I had thought had passed away a few years ago. Come to find out, he is thriving and still doing and promoting his market as well. This was a wonderful surprise. We have exchanged numbers, as I plan to visit his market as well.
Since I had so many middle-aged customers at the table. I will be adding this market to my list.
